Museums in the 21st Century: Concepts, Projects, Buildings is a survey of the latest museum architecture in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Eighteen unique designs are represented by models, sketches, computer renderings, photographs, and animation – all of which provide fascinating insight into the creative processes of many of the world’s major architectural firms - including: Tadao Ando, Zaha Hadid, Renzo Piano, Bernard Tschumi, Frank Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, Steven Holl and Jean Nouvel.
Frist Center Associate Curator Trinita Kennedy will offer a presentation on a selection of building projects included in the Frist's first architecture focused exhibition. Presentation will be followed by a brief discussion/question time and a free tour of the exhibition. Open to Forum Members and guests. Cash Bar available.
Please note the change in location for this month's Urban Design Forum! MEETING AT THE FRIST CENTER LECTURE HALL.
