2006

2005
Building on the sucess of 2004, the Second Annual Live It Up! Hometour, held on May 1, 2005, far surpassed all expectations. The tour featured 20 stops, with a variety of housing types, in the Downtown and Germantown neighborhoods. Of the 1,000 people who attended this years tour, 31 decided to call downtown Nashville home by purchasing one of the many units on the tour. Producing an economic impact of more than 9.5 million dollars!

2004
Downtown
Nashville hosted more than 700 people during the first annual LIVE IT UP!
Downtown Home
Tour on Sunday, April 25, 2004. Young professionals, “empty nesters” and
many others took a look at the exciting contemporary urban living spaces
in the heart of downtown. Over twelve housing options – lofts, apartments,
condominiums and a single-family dwelling – were on display, including
new projects under development.
After experiencing the variety of housing, its convenience and style, and the
dynamic city neighborhood, many people made the decision to call downtown Nashville
their home. Developers and property owners reported brisk increase in calls,
with significant leases and sales linked to the tour and related media exposure.
Within the first 30 days, over $5.7 million in contracts and leases occurred
as a result of the tour.
In 2005, the Nashville Civic Design Center and the Nashville Downtown Partnership created a four minute movie to give an overview of the Home Tour.
