Urban planning and civic design are normally, it’s true, rarified pleasures. But for Nashvillians, that all changed with the recent publication of The Plan of Nashville, a generously illustrated, patiently explained and hotly anticipated vision of Music City’s future as conceived by the Nashville Design Center with the help of some 800 of the city’s citizens. Now we just need to turn the Plan from a book into a reality.
