Nashville Civic Design Center Announces Julia Fry Landstreet as Executive Director and the 2010-2011 Board of Directors and Officers

Julia Fry Landstreet has been elected to serve as the Executive Director for the Nashville Civic Design Center. Landstreet began working with the NCDC on an interim basis in February.

 

“Julia's experience with non-profits, her knowledge of Nashville and her unbridled passion for the Center's mission has brought new energy and resources to the Center in only a few months.  The board was unanimous, and enthusiastic, in our decision to bring her on as full time Executive Director," says Hunter Gee, architect with Smith Gee Studio and Nashville Civic Design Center Board President.”

 

New board members to serve on the Nashville Civic Design Center’s board for the 2010-2011 term include: Greg Bailey, a Partner at Katcher Vaughn & Bailey Public Relations, TK Davis, Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design and former Design Director for the NCDC, Chris Ferrell, CEO of Southcomm and Donna Glassford, Director of Cultural Enrichment at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

 

The officers are: Hunter Gee, President; Mary Pat Teague, Vice-President; Hal Clark, Treasurer; Dr. Evelyn Nettles, Secretary.

 

Returning board members include: Bill Barkley, Steve Campbell, Scott Chambers, Keith Covington, Jim Douglas, William Hastings, Mercedes Jones, David Koellein, Larry Papel, Eric Schultenover, and Brian Tibbs.
