DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for a special night of celebration hosted by the Rymer Gallery [http\://therymergallery.com/]! We will announce the winners of the Nashville 2054 Design Competition [http\://www.civicdesigncenter.org/projects/Nashville_2054]\, and auction off a unique piece of art by local artist Herb Williams [http\://www.herbwilliamsart.com/]. \nWorld famous sculptor Herb Williams has donated a one-of-a-kind piece to be auctioned at the Urban Design Forum on February 18\, 2010\, to benefit the Nashville Civic Design Center. The auction and announcement of winners for the competition are part of the festivities to celebrate the fifth year anniversary of The Plan of Nashville [http\://www.civicdesigncenter.org/plan_of_nashville].  \nHerb is one of the only individuals in the world with an account with Crayola. He creates original sculptures out of individual crayons that may require as many as hundreds of thousands. He will also cast the completed crayon sculptures in a silicone jacket mold with a two-part epoxy resin and then paint the resin sculpture to look like the original\, occasionally producing a small edition.
