Susannah E. Shumate is the newest addition to the Nashville Civic Design Center. She joined as Executive Director in April 2007.Prior to joining the Nashville Civic Design Center, Shumate served as Associate Director at Hands On Nashville and as Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Rhodes College in Memphis and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.
