DESIGN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD CURRICULUM
The curriculum provides hands-on activities that engage students with the planning and design of their neighborhoods through a lens of the core question, "How does the shape we give our community, in turn, shape us?"
The activities can be stand-alone, or work as a whole unit for a course. Each activity has a guide for classroom facilitation, and aligns with Tennessee content standards. The content of the activities are based onNCDC’s books that are listed below as primary texts.
