Volunteer Day - Chestnut Hill Tactical Urbanism Art Intersection

  • Chestnut St. and Trimble St. Intersection 4 Trimble St Nashville, TN, 37210 United States (map)

Chestnut Hill Mural Concept

The Chestnut Hill neighborhood is gearing up for an exciting public art and safety initiative, and we need your help!

We are transforming a key intersection with a vibrant ground mural designed to beautify our streets and enhance pedestrian safety. This project combines art with vital traffic calming measures, making our neighborhood more walkable and visually appealing.

What We're Doing:

  • Painting the Mural: Volunteers will help paint the large-scale ground mural, bringing color and life to the asphalt. No artistic experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and a willingness to follow directions!

  • Installing Traffic Calming Devices: We will also be working to install permanent safety features, including tire delineators and other effective traffic calming devices, directly integrating them with the mural design to slow traffic and clearly define safe spaces.
