Hoops, Looby, Youths

The NYDT is a diverse cohort of 20 high school interns representing the voices and experiences of youth across Davidson County. In partnership with Community Research in Action PhD students at Vanderbilt University, the team engages in a participatory action research process to explore and address issues impacting youth wellness in Nashville. Through this collaboration, NYDT develops urban design solutions that reflect the needs and aspirations of young people, ensuring their perspectives are meaningfully included in shaping the city's future.
