Elton Zorba
Transportation Planning Fellow
Elton grew up in the city of Durrës, Albania, where he lived until the start of his university studies. He then moved to Venice, Italy, where he completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Territorial Planning and Rural Development Policies at IUAV University of Venice.
After several years of work experience in Italy, Elton returned to Albania and began working with the local public administration of Durrës. He later contributed to central government institutions such as the Albanian Development Fund (FSHZH) and the National Territorial Planning Agency (AKPT).
For a certain period, Elton dedicated himself to the collection and analysis of geospatial data, supporting policymakers in understanding the de facto status of the territory and forecasting potential developments in various case studies.
Beyond his professional engagements, Elton enjoys spending time in nature and organizing artistic events aimed at promoting local artists and raising community awareness on the use of art as a form of communication. One of his initiatives in this field is the project "The History Projectors".
