Not only has Hannah enjoyed exploring Nashville, she has also liked giving friends a tour of Nashville, including the Parthenon.

Every year, Hannah goes on a canoeing trip with family.

While living in California, Hannah enjoyed regular hikes in Yosemite National Park.

Hannah Morris began working as a Research Fellow and co-facilitator for the Nashville Youth Design Team in Summer 2025. She is also a doctoral student within Vanderbilt Univesity’s Community Research and Action program. Her time as an educator (middle school math and science teacher; MEd, University of Notre Dame) and within the public health field (MPH, Cornell University) have fueled her passion for understanding how youth experience and imagine spaces that support their wellbeing. Hannah is especially interested in engaging in participatory, youth-led work creating communities that reflect youth’s wants and needs.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys being outdoors (i.e. hiking, running, biking), swimming, finishing puzzles, and doing yoga. New to Nashville, Hannah has also enjoyed exploring parks, cafés, and libraries while learning about the rich history of the city. While Hannah does not have a dog, she loves dogs and hopes to get one soon!
