NOMA

NOMAnash is one of the National Organization of Minority Architects’ youngest chapters formed in 2018. Their mission is to advocate for issues regarding Greater Nashville’s underrepresented in the architectural profession, to advocate for equity within legislation with the local government, to commit to the welfare of the community at large, and to be an inspiration and active participant in the education of local youth.

NOMAnash is a nonprofit partner of ours for projects and events that take action towards our aligned missions. We both work with students to increase the awareness of architecture as a profession, which is a longterm approach to improving diversity in the field.

Our CEO, Gary Gaston, is a NOMAnash Allied Professional Member. Two of our Board Members are in NOMAnash’s executive leadership: Valarie Franklin is the NOMAnash Immediate Past President and Asia Allen is the NOMAnash Vice President.
