These walks are being organized to showcase a temporary crosswalk and pedestrian space installation on Dickerson Road & Hart Lane.
Walk Bike Nashville and Civic Design Center have been funded by the Tennessee Department of Health to work alongside community members to put forth recommendations for streets design improvements along the two-mile segment of Dickerson Road from Trinity Lane to Ewing Drive.
As part of this pedestrian safety study, Civic Design Center’s Youth Design Team is building temporary crosswalks and pedestrian space on Dickerson & Hart Lane as a way to gather input and inspire ideas from community members.
Join us for a walking tour of the area and an explanation of the installation led by members of the Youth Design Team. This series of walks all begin at 6 pm and both walks will end at the temporary crosswalk installation at Dickerson & Hart Lane.
