According to the Plan of Nashville, “the Nashville Urban Design Forum was established to bring public debate to the development of the city”. Today, they are a resource for design professionals and community members alike to learn about design as well as ideate around projects they hope to see come to fruition.
Looking back at the Civic Design Center’s history of Urban Design Forums, you will notice that our community was often thinking 10 years ahead of the curve. We continue to host open community events to keep our tradition of knowledge and education alive for the people we serve.
